What is ARToberFEST?
ARToberFEST is a fine arts festival presented by The Grand 1894 Opera House. It is an outdoor event located on Galveston Island in the Historic Downtown Cultural Arts District. The festival showcases the works of the finest artists in the United States.
Our outdoor live event brings more than 8,000 people through Galveston's Historic Downtown Cultural Arts District, offering visitors the opportunity to meet with exhibiting artists, enjoy artist demonstrations and enjoy food and entertainment in a historic setting. Our neighbors on Postoffice Street will be represented online at our virtual event - providing continued shopping opportunities.
When is ARToberFEST?
The event will be held Saturday, October 19 from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, October 20 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Who May Attend?
Everyone! ARToberFEST is an event open to the general public, but it requires tickets for entry. Admission to ARToberFEST is available to the general public for a fee of $5 per person. Children under 12 are free. All proceeds go to support The Grand’s Education outreach programs. You may purchase tickets online at www.thegrand.com or may pay at the gate. All artwork is purchased through the individual artist. Art is available at prices to fit every budget.

Can I bring my pet?
People may bring pets that are leashed and as long as they curb their furry friends.
